The second day in a row of the second Test between Bangladesh and New Zealand was called off without even the toss taking place at the Basin Reserve Stadium in Wellington on Saturday (March 9).
With more showers forecast on day three on Sunday, play is scheduled to get under way 30 minutes early at 10.30am.
Umpires Paul Reiffel and Ruchira Palliyaguruge inspected the ground and were set to confirm a start time of 4.30pm as the players warmed up, before drizzle returned and stymied that plan.
The Black Caps retained a squad of 13, with Will Young and Matt Henry both remaining in Wellington.
Both sides have held off naming their teams until the coin toss. The two omitted Black Caps players will then rejoin their Plunket Shield sides and can be substituted into a game.
New Zealand lead the three-test series 1-0 after an innings and 52 run win in Hamilton.
