DHAKA: Tigers are set to leave New Zealand as Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has called off the third Test against New Zealand which was scheduled to start on Saturday (March 16).
Cricketers will fly in a flight of Singapore Airlines at 6 pm (Bangladesh time) on Saturday (March 16).
All Bangladeshi cricketers are safe now following a gun attack inside a mosque in Christchurch of New Zealand on Friday (March 15).
49 people were killed and at least 20 wounded in shootings at two mosques in Christchurch.
The third Test was called off due to the attack.
Bangladesh national cricket team narrowly escaped the shooting. The team went to the mosque by a bus and was about to go inside when the incident took place.
