5th Walton surfing championship ends in Cox's Bazar The winners posed for photographs with the guests.

COX'S BAZAR: Three-day long Walton 5th National Surfing Championship concluded on Cox's Bazar beach on Sunday (April 28).  

More than 100 surfers from 10 organizations took part in the competition held at Laboni Point of the world's longest sea beach. 

Md Yunus, Md Selim and Md Mannan became first, second and third respectively, in men's senior group.

Meheraz, Ayesha Akter and Rifa Akter became first, second and third respectively, in women's group.

Bangladesh Surfing Association General Secretary and Public Administration Ministry Secretary Sheikh Md Yusuf Harun distributed prizes among the winners on the concluding day.

Cox's Bazar Superintendent of Police (SP) AB Masud Hossain, Walton official FM Iqbal Bin Anwar and Radiant Fish World Managing Director Md Shafikur Rahman, among others, were present.

On Friday (April 26), Bangladesh Parjatan Corporation (BPC) Chairman Akhtaruz Zaman Khan launched the three-day contest.
