DHAKA: National Cricket Team met Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina before leaving Dhaka for Ireland to play in the tri-series and the ICC World Cup in England and Wales.
Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) president, director, coaching staff and other officials also accompanied them.
Team Mashrafe reached the official residence of the Prime Minister at 12 noon on Tuesday (April 30).
BCB chief Nazmul Hassan Papan informed the Prime Minister about preparation and target set for the World Cup. The premier also gave inspiration to the cricketers.
Later, PM hosts a lunch at Ganobhaban in the honor of the guests.
National cricket team will leave Dhaka on Wednesday (May 1) to play in the tri-series in Ireland. The tri-series will start from May 5. The final will be held on May 17.
Then, Bangladesh team will leave for England to take part in the World Cup.
