Australia set West Indies 289-run target 

DHAKA: Australia have set a 289-run target for West Indies in the 10th match of ICC World Cup 2019, at Trent Bridge Cricket Ground Thursday (June 6).

Earlier the Caribbean won the toss and opted to bowl first against the Aussie. The match, second for both the teams in the tournament, started at Bangladesh time 3:30pm.

NM Coulter-Nile took the highest 92 runs off 60 balls while SPD Smith earned 73 runs off 103 balls to help the team score 288 runs after the early fall of openers. 

Besides, AT Carey earned a vital 45 runs off 55 deliveries. 

Brathwaite bagged three wickets while Thomas, Cottrell and Russell picked up two wickets each for Australia.

West Indies earlier defeated Pakistan by 7 wickets and Australia defeated Afghanistan by 8 wickets, in their respective first matches.
