Dhaka: Hot On The Heels Of A Cyber-Scandal, The Government Moves To Enact A Specific Law Soon On The Usage Of Internet So Nobody Can Post Any Objectionable Matters On The Social Networking Sites.

A Few Days Back, The Government Shut Down The Face-Book After An Idle-Brained Boy Had Posted Unwanted Matters Regarding The Prime Minister And The Leader Of The Opposition. The Popular Site Was Unlocked Following Strong Pleas From Different Knowledge-Society Quarters.        

State Minister For Law, Justice And Parliamentary Affairs Qamrul Islam Wednesday Unveiled The Plan For Making The Law, Which Will Put A Brake On The Freewheeling Along The Fast-Moving Information Superhighway.    

HE MADE THE ANNOUNCEMENT WHILE INAUGURATING Three-Day “Dhaka Laptop Fair-2010” At Bangabadhu International Conference Centre.

“The Law Ministry Is Working In This Regard Right Now,” The State Ministry Told His Audience At The Show Of The State-Of-The-Art Ict Item, Laptop, Which Is Phasing Out Fast Its Predecessor, The Desktop Computer.

President Of Bangladesh Computer Samity Mostafa Jabbar, Who Addressed The Fair As Special Guest, Urged The Government To Incorporate Information Technology-Related Subjects In The Country’s Educational Curricula For Increasing Overall It Uses.
