DHAKA: Trading on the country’s two bourses witnesses mixed trend in share-price indices on Tuesday.

The key index of Dhaka Stock Exchange, DSEX, rose over four points at the close of the third trading day of the week.

Trade deals stood at 109,765 with volume of transactions at Tk 3,889 million.

Of the issues traded, 127 advanced, 134 declined and 26 remained unchanged.

UCBL topped the turnover list with shares worth Tk 154 million having changed hands.

The other turnover leaders are ENVOYTEX, GENNEXT, SPPCL, IFIC, PADMAOIL, CITYBANK, OLYMPIC, ARGONDENIM and SQURPHARMA.     

Besides, Selective Categories Index of Chittagong stocks climbed down to 8,010 by dropping over 15 points at 10:42am.

Out of the issues traded, 89 gained, 110 declined and 18 remained unchanged.
