DHAKA: Midland Bank Limited, a private commercial bank of the country, opened its Agrabad branch at As-Salam Tower, 57, Agrabad Commercial Area in Chittagong on Tuesday.

Chairman of the bank M Moniruzzaman Khandaker inaugurated the opening of branch along with Mohammad Jamal Ullah, Al-haj Mohammed Issa Badsha Mohosin, directors of the bank, said a press release.

AKM Shahidul Haque, Managing Director & CEO of the bank, was present and gave the welcome speech.

M Moniruzzaman Khandaker also spoke on the occasion as chief guest and gave vote of thanks to the audience.

A large number of local elites, people, businessmen, clients, well-wishers, patrons of the bank participated in the ceremony.

Mohammed Abu Hena, Vice President and Head of Agrabad Branch of the bank, was also present along with other Divisional Heads of the Head Office.

The inaugural ceremony was started with munajat praying for divine blessings of Almighty Allah for the welfare, progress and prosperity of the bank and the country as well.
