The results of the Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) and equivalent exams will be released today (October 15).

Here’s how to access your HSC 2024 results:

From respective institutions, students can collect their HSC 2024 results from their respective colleges after 11:00 am.

Online: Students can also check their HSC results online via three websites: www.dhakaeducationboard.gov.bd, www.educationboardresults.gov.bd, and www.eduboardresults.gov.bd. To access results, students need to input their HSC roll and registration numbers. Additionally, institutions can download result sheets using their Educational Institute Identification Number (EIIN).

Via SMS: To get the results through SMS, follow these steps:

  • Type "HSC" and add a space.
  • Enter the first three letters of your education board, followed by a space.
  • Enter your HSC roll number, then another space.
  • Enter the exam year (2024).
  • Send the message to 16222.

For example, an HSC 2024 candidate from Dhaka with roll number 12345 would send: "HSC Dha 12345 2024".

More than 1.4 million students were registered for this year's HSC exams across nine general, technical, and madrasa boards.

The HSC exams started on June 30 but were disrupted by the quota reform protests. The remaining exams were postponed after the fall of the Hasina-led government, and rescheduled for September 11. However, on August 20, the remaining exams were cancelled due to protests.

This year’s results were calculated using subject mapping, with marks for six cancelled exams determined based on students' previous Secondary School Certificate (SSC) results.
