DHAKA: The First International Conference on Social Sciences and Humanities will be held from August 23 to 25 at Independent University, Bangladesh (IUB).

Education Minister Nurul Islam Nahid will be present as chief guest in the conference titled “Identity in the Globalized World: Dimensions, Transformations and Challenges”.

Professor Willem van Schendel, University of Amsterdam, will also attend the conference.

The event is supported by the Higher Education Quality Enhancement Project (HEQEP), University Grants Commission Bangladesh (UGCB).
