JAHANGIRNAGAR UNIVERSITY: The first-year honors admission test under the academic session of 2014-2015 at Jahangirnagar University (JU) will be held from September 17.

It will continue till September 23.

The decision came from a meeting of university central admission committee on Wednesday noon.

Deputy Registrar (education) of the university Mohammad Ali, also committee member, informed the media.

In response to a query about whether the applicants will face the discrimination as the authorities published admission circular for twice, Mohammad Ali said the students can sit for their tests after completing the terms of the first notice.

Moreover, they do not need to apply for second time for the session.

“We informed the matter in an open notice,” he added.

The deputy registrar said some 1.96 lakh applicants will sit for the JU admission in this academic session.
