Environment Adviser Syeda Rizwana Hasan today urged graduates to see education as a commitment to truth, justice, and environmental protection, not just a path to earning a degree.
Speaking at Central Women’s University’s 3rd convocation in Dhaka, she called on students to stand against pollution, deforestation, and climate change, and to work for building a just, sustainable Bangladesh.
Highlighting the link between women's rights and climate action, Rizwana said, “The climate movement is inherently a feminist struggle.”
The event was also addressed by university officials and dignitaries.
