CHITTAGONG: Three activists of Chhatra League received bullet injuries in a clash between two groups of Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL) of Chittagong University on Saturday night.

The injured are- third year student of Pali department Shuvo Barua, third year student of English department Rasel, Islamic History and Culture department student Farhad Hossain.

University sources said that activists of Chhatra League backed organization Varsity Express (VX) and Choose Friends with Care (CFC) locked into clash with fire arms over establishing supremacy around 1:30am, leaving three BCL men injured.

Later, critically injured Shuvo and Rusel were sent to Chittagong Medical College Hospital.

Confirming the matter, Hathazari Thana Police Inspector (Investigation) Salauddin told banglanews that additional police forces were deployed in the campus.

Earlier on September 21 and 24, such type of incident took place in the university over establishing supremacy.
