A Dhaka court today (Nov 16) summoned popular televisions actors Mehazabien Chowdhury and Afran Nisho to appear before it in a case lodged for using words insulting towards autism and specially-abled people, in one of their dramas 'Ghotona Satya'.

Dhaka Metropolitan Sessions Judge Asaduzzaman passed the order after accepting the revision case filed by Nabila Akter for Child Foundation.

The other accused in the case are- Channel I Managing Director Faridur Reza Sagor, its Head of News Shykh Seraj, screenwriter of that play, Moinul Sanu and director Rubel Hasan, plaintiff's counsel Adv Al Mamun Russel said.

According to the plaintiff, the accused have put the specially-abled people and their families into risk through the dialogues used in the drama.
