Renowned singers Syed Abdul Hadi and Khurshid Alam will be honored with lifetime achievement awards at the upcoming 'Human Rights Award' ceremony.
The awards will be given during the anniversary celebration of the Bangladesh Environment and Human Rights Implementation Society, scheduled for next Friday.
The event will feature performances by around fifty artists from the music industry, including Abdul Hadi, Khurshid Alam, Fakir Shahabuddin, Riziya Parvin, Shahnaz Beli, SM Shafi, Tahir, Sumi Shabnam, Sohel Mehedi, Tahrimah Batul Riva, Tabij Faruk, Tajul Islam, Neha, Nasir, Sushmita Sultana Shampa, Robin Ahmed, Zabul Islam, Nowshin Manzoor, Close-Up star Nolok Babu, Shahnaz Babu, and many others.
Bangladesh Energy Regulatory Commission Chairman Jalal Ahmed is expected to attend as the chief guest, while Mohammad Kazim Uddin, Managing Director and CEO of National Life Insurance, will inaugurate the event.
M. Ibrahim Patwary, Chairman of the Central Committee of the Bangladesh Environment and Human Rights Implementation Society presided over the event.
