Dhallywood actress Mahiya Mahi bought nomination form for a boat symbol to contest upcoming by-polls in Chapainawabganj-2 constituency.

The actress said, “If I get the ticket for the contest, I will win by a huge margin of at least 50 thousand votes,” she said.

The actress made this comment in reply to a query from journalists after collecting nomination form at AL president's political office in Dhanmondi in the capital on Thursday.

“Getting AL nomination paper, I am too happy to express,” she said.

Recently, Mahi got a post at Bangabandhu Cultural Alliance Central Committee. She will serve as a general secretary of the central committee for the next two years.
