DHAKA: Alliance Française de Dhaka will arrange Sumon Yusuf’s maiden photography exhibition titled ‘Life & Struggle of Padma’ at its La Galerie.

Inaugural ceremony of the exhibition will be held at 6:00pm on Friday.

Professor Abdullah Abu Sayeed, will be present as chief guest while filmmaker Morshedul Islam and Systech Unimax Ltd managing director Qudrat E Khoda will be present as guest of honor and special guest respectively in the ceremony.

Sumon Yusuf has tried to present the universal relationship between once mighty river Padma and people, the organizers say in a release.

Twenty photographs will be on display.

According to the photographer, the photographs will not only be an object of aesthetic delight for the viewers but also help create awareness among people to come forward to save the dying river Padma.

The exhibition will remain open from 3:00pm to 9:00pm every day and from 9:00am to 12:00pm and from 5:00pm to 8:00pm on Fridays and Saturdays. Sundays will be closed.

It will continue till February 6.
