DHAKA: Star Cineplex will arrange the Dhaka-premiere of a latest Hollywood movie ‘Divergent’ at its halls at Bashundhara City Shopping Mall in city’s Panthapath area.

Inaugural screening of this adventure, romance and sci-fi movie will be held at 6:30pm on Thursday.

Divergent, released on March 18 in 2014, is based on the novel of the same title by Veronica Roth.

The film, which stars Shailene Woodley, Theo James, Zoë Kravitz, Ansel Elgort, Maggie Q, Jai Courtney, Miles Teller, and Kate Winslet, is directed by Neil Burger.

It is the first installment in the Divergent film series.

The story takes place in a dystopian post-apocalyptic version of Chicago where people are divided into distinct factions based on human virtues.

Beatrice Prior is warned that she is Divergent and thus will never fit into any one of the factions and soon learns that a sinister plot is brewing in her seemingly perfect society.
