DHAKA: US Ambassador to Bangladesh Dan W Mozena on Sunday visited the One-Stop Crisis Center (OCC) at Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) in the city.

Sources told banglanews that he along with five US foreign ministry officials, talked to the patients.

Mozena, however, exchanged greetings with the patients and inquired about their treatment, sources added.

They said the DMCH authorities welcomed the US envoys warmly after reaching at the hospital around 10:15am.

Mozena, at that time, went to the OCC after the hospital’s emergency unit and attended a meeting at the auditorium.

After the meeting he, moreover, talked to three patients with the help of interpreter.

Dhaka Medical College Hospital Director Brigadier General Mustafizur Rahman, One-Stop Crisis Center Coordinator Dr Bilkis Begum and Project Director Dr Abul Hossain were among others present at the program.
