A passenger plane carrying 72 people on board has crashed in Kazakhstan.
The plane reportedly crashed near the city of Aktau in southwest Kazakhstan today.
Dozens are feared dead in the crash, while six people may have survived, the country’s emergency ministry said.
The Azerbaijan Airlines flight was travelling from Baku, Azerbaijan, to Grozny in Russia, but it was forced to reroute due to dense fog, Sky News reports.
It crashed just yards away from the Aktau airport.
Footage appears to show the terrifying moment the plane began to plunge before it turned into a fireball as it hit the ground.
The emergency services had to put out the flames at the crash site, the authorities said.
