Since Israel resumed its attacks on Gaza after breaking a ceasefire with Hamas on March 18, 2025, nearly 900 people have been killed, and nearly 2,000 others have been injured, according to Gaza's Ministry of Health.

In a separate development, Israeli forces have bombed Beirut for the first time since a ceasefire with Hezbollah was established in November.

Meanwhile, two individuals were wounded in ongoing Israeli airstrikes targeting southern Lebanon.

The United Nations World Food Programme has raised alarm over the severe humanitarian crisis in Gaza, with thousands of Palestinians facing hunger and malnutrition due to a blockade that has prevented essential supplies and food from entering the region for over three weeks.

As of the latest reports, Gaza’s Ministry of Health confirmed that at least 50,208 Palestinians have died, and 113,910 others have been injured in the ongoing conflict.

The Gaza Government Media Office updated the death toll to over 61,700, adding that thousands more are feared dead, trapped under rubble.

The violence has also affected Israel, where at least 1,139 people were killed in the Hamas-led attacks on October 7, 2023, and more than 200 people were taken captive.
