Israeli airstrikes continue to devastate Gaza, with at least 100 Palestinian children reported dead or injured each day since the resumption of hostilities on March 18.
The director of Al-Ahli Hospital in Gaza City has confirmed that the facility is overwhelmed, with no more space available to treat the mounting casualties.
The United Nations Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA) reported the harrowing toll on children, while Hamas issued a warning that half of the remaining captives in Gaza are in immediate danger due to new Israeli military orders for forced expulsions.
Gaza's Health Ministry has confirmed that over 50,600 Palestinians have lost their lives, with more than 115,000 wounded since the beginning of the conflict.
The Government Media Office has raised the death toll to more than 61,700, with many missing under the rubble presumed dead.
In contrast, the aftermath of the October 7 Hamas-led attacks on Israel has left at least 1,139 Israelis dead and over 200 taken hostage.
