DHAKA: BRAC CDM Rajendrapur is set to arrange an array of entertainments and celebrations on the first day of Bengali new year-Pohela Boishakh.
The Grand Pohela Boishakhi Mela will be held at BRAC CDM Rajendrapur in Gazipur on April 14, says a press release. The daylong event is initiated by BRAC Services Limited (BSL).
This offer, facilitating a family picnic as well as a corporate outing, begins at Tk 4,000 per person. This package offers panta-ilish, luncheon, refreshment, sports and boat-cruise on the resort lake. The package of Tk 16,500 per person includes dinner, usage of swimming pool and residence facilities with all other services besides the above mentioned offers.
However, one can enjoy the same facilities for two persons at the package of Tk 24,500 only.
What more, every package is also available on the basis of `buy one and get one free.’ This offer is valid for 13 and 14 April only. Rock star Maqsood O' dHAKA and close-up star Salma will enthrall the cheerful audience on this year's Grand Pohela Boishakhi Mela there, according to the Statement.

The “Main Building” is there, as are Butterfly Fountain, Butterfly Dining Room- One and Two, Conference Hall One, Two and Three, nearby BBQ place, classrooms One and Two and adjacent huts.
But as you enter the BRAC CDM Rajendrapur, gorgeous architectural pieces will come into view. BSL has added 250-seat Grand Banquet Hall, Coffee Shop, state-of-the-art 480-seat Lake View Auditorium, Conference Room, Lake View Meeting Room, Executive Meeting Room for 10 persons and swimming pool.
A glass pathway leads to the Coffee Shop, built on stilts where BBQs can also be arranged on the first floor. The swimming pool is on top of the Banquet Hall. Opposite the two buildings is the gym – for men and women, with the latest equipment.
The former overhead water tank has been replaced with a beautiful tower which allows guests to stay connected with Wi-Fi all over the 40-acre property.
