COX’S BAZAR: Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) personnel seized 16,000 pieces yaba tablets from Bara Habir Para area under Teknaf upazila of the district on Wednesday.

BGB sources said, acting on a tip-off, BGB personnel conducted a special drive in the morning and seized the huge amount Yaba tablets from a house of the area.

The law enforcers nabbed two persons in this connection.

A case was filed with Teknaf Thana against them in this regard.

Captain of Teknaf BGB-42 Lieutenant Col Abujar Al Zahid confirmed the matter to banglanews.
