The holy Shab-e-Qadr, also known as Lailatul Qadr (the Night of Decree), will be observed across the country tomorrow (March 27) night.
This sacred night marks the revelation of the first verses of the Holy Quran to Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH).
Muslims will spend the night in prayers, Quran recitation, and religious rituals, seeking divine blessings for peace, prosperity, and forgiveness.
Friday has been declared a public holiday in observance of the occasion.
Special articles will be published in newspapers, while Bangladesh Betar, Bangladesh Television, and private channels will air programs highlighting the significance of this blessed night.
As per the Holy Quran, Shab-e-Qadr is "better than a thousand nights," making it one of the most sacred nights in Islam.
