A mild heatwave is sweeping over Khulna Division and the districts of Dhaka, Faridpur, Rajshahi, Pabna, Sirajganj, Lakshmipur and Feni. This condition may continue and spread, the Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) said in a release today (March 28).

The weather is expected to remain dry with a partly cloudy sky. 

Day temperatures may rise slightly, while night temperatures are likely to remain unchanged.

Jashore recorded the highest temperature yesterday at 37.6°C, while Rangamati saw the lowest at 19.5°C today. 

A trough of low pressure over West Bengal and a seasonal low in the South Bay are influencing current conditions.

In Dhaka, the sun will set at 6:13 PM today and rise at 5:53 AM tomorrow.
