The embassy, which has been closely monitoring the situation since the earthquake on Friday, March 28, reported no significant incidents involving Bangladeshi expatriates in the affected areas.
The embassy urged all Bangladeshi nationals to heed the guidance and warnings issued by local authorities and housing agencies.
For any emergencies, expatriates have been advised to contact the embassy’s helpdesk hotline, available on their official website.
