Malaysian Aircraft Missing: Bangladesh starts searching

DHAKA: Bangladesh on Saturday deployed two patrol aircrafts and two navy frigates to help the on-going search for the missing Malaysian aircraft MH-370(Boeing-777).

Ministry of Foreign Affairs made the disclosure through a press release, signed by Assistant Secretary (Mission & Media) Shu Dana Ekram Chowdhury.

It said that the decision came after the instruction of the Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina to help locate the aircraft and carry out the search in the suspected areas of the Bay of Bengal.

A Malaysian aircraft (MH-370) went on missing on March 8 with 239 passengers from 14 countries.

It is believed that the aircraft might have been forced to divert its course towards the Indian Ocean or the Bay of Bengal as hectic search in the South China Sea failed to locate it.
