JESSORE: Bashundhara Cup Golf Tournament 2014 kicked off in Jessore Golf and Country Club playground of the district on Saturday morning.

General Officer Commanding (GOC) of 55 Infantry Division, also Jessore Area Commander Major General SM Motiur Rahman inaugurated the tournament by releasing balloons at 9:30am.

The Head of HR and Public Relations, also Advisor of country’s leading business conglomerate Bashundhara Group, Lieutenant Colonel (retd.) Khandaker Abdul Wahed, along with others high officials of the Group and Bangladesh Army were present in the programme.
 
A total of 78 golfers, including 15 females and 18 juniors, are taking part in the tournament.
