RAJSHAHI: A group of lawyers Sunday stopped all the activities of Rajshahi court following the demise of a fellow advocate.

The sudden standstill of the law practitioners resulted enormous miseries for the justice seekers came from remote areas of the division.

Court sources said the veteran lawyer of Rajshahi advocate Raisul Islam, 64, died of cardiac arrest at Rajshahi Medical College Hospital Sunday morning. He was a public prosecutor (PP) of Rajshahi Court.

banglanews24.com.bd correspondent informed that advocate Abul Kashem, the president of Rajshahi Bar led the lawyers to stop the judicial activities.
