Awami League President and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has reached the rally venue in Gopalganj’s Tungipara today (December 30).

She will address an election rally of Awami League at Tungipara Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Government College ground.

The premier, along with her younger sister Sheikh Rehana reached the rally venue around 11:20am from her ancestral house in Gopalganj.

Awami League activists and supporters flocked to the party’s rally venue at Tungipara.

She came to Tungipara from Barisal by road after attending an election rally in Barisal on Friday.

She stayed at her home at night.

As part of her election campaigning, the Awami League president will address two public rallies in Gopalganj.

She is scheduled to address a rally at the Govt Sheikh Mujibur Rahman College grounds in Tungipara this morning and another rally at the Kotalipara Sheikh Luthfur Rahman Adarsha Govt College ground at noon.

A festive mood has been prevailing among Awami League and its front and associate bodies' leaders and activists, as well as the general public over the prime minister’s visit to Gopalganj district for electioneering.
