FENI: Law enforcers detained some 24 leaders and activists of BNP and Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islam from several places of the district on Tuesday on charge of vandalizing vehicles and creating violence during hartal.
Police sources said that 24 BNP-Jamaat men were held in several drives conducted from Monday night to Tuesday morning.
On the other hand, the blockaders blasted several cocktails in district town in the morning.
Assistant Sub-Inspector of Feni Police Control Room confirmed the matter to banglanews.
