DHAKA: ‘Aam-Janata Khilafat Party’ is set to be introduced on Tuesday as a political party with a vow to protect democracy as well as basic rights of people.

The party’s would be founding chairman Syedana Haidar Ali Chowdhury will announce the formation of the party at a press conference at National Press Club in city on Tuesday afternoon.

A press release signed by the party’s publicity and publication secretary MA Razzak informed the media on Monday.

The release said that ‘Aam-Janata Khelafat Party’ will be a progressive and secular party.
