KHULNA: A Khulna court Monday fixed September 2 for hearing on charge framing against Khulna city Jamaat Ameer and former MP Mia Golam Parwar and 47 others in a case filed in speedy trial act.

Judge Abu Shamim Azad of Metropolitan Speedy Trial Tribunal passed the order for lack of documents of the case.

The charge sheet of the case was submitted to the court on July 12 and the charge framing hearing was to be held on July 19.

Earlier, Khulna Sadar thana SI Rezaul Karim filed the case on June 30 accusing Parwar and 47 others on charge of obstructing police to perform their duties, snatching radio set and hampering public movement.
