KHULNA: A city court on Sunday sent 19 leaders and activists of BNP and its associate organizations including district BNP organizing secretary Amir Ezaj Khan denying their bail on four torching cases.

Confirming the matter to banglanews, district BNP general secretary advocate SM Shafiqul Alam Mona said the court of Senior Judicial Magistrate and Chief Judicial Magistrate court passed the order at noon.

They were accused in four cases of vandalism and torching in Rupsa and Terkhada upazilas after 10th parliamentary election.

Some of the BNP and its associate units leaders are Terkhada BNP president Chowdhury Kawsar Ali, Rupsha BNP president Sheikh Abdur Rashid, Rupsa BNP general secretary Molla Khairul Islam and Terkhada BNP general secretary Mezbaul Alam.
