DHAKA: BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia is set to hold a meeting with senior party leaders on Tuesday night to decide their preparations and strategy for the imminent polls in 234 municipalities scheduled slated to be held on December 30.

The meeting will be held at party chairperson’s Gulshan political office around 8:00pm.

Chairperson’s media wing member Shairul Kabir Khan confirmed about the meeting to banglanews.

A senior party leader, wishing not to disclose his identity, told banglanews that Khaleda Zia will get the chance to participate in the promotional activities as she is not a government beneficiary.

However, there are some restrictions also, he added.
