GAIBANDHA: Police detained 35 people including two Jamaat activists during night-long drives in several areas of the district on Wednesday.

Sundarganj Thana Officer-in-Charge Israil Hossain confirmed the matter to banglanews adding, the Jamaat men were warranted in sabotage case.

While district police control room said other 33 people are accused in several cases of robbery, rape, abduction and Narcotics control Act.

Gaibandha Additional Police Super Faruk Hossain said, they will be sent to jail after primary interrogation.
