AL leader among 2 hacked dead in Tongi

GAZIPUR: Unidentified miscreants hacked an Awami League leader among two to death in Ershadnagar area in Tongi of the metropolitan city.

The deceased were identified as Sharif Uddin, 32, local Swechchhasebok league leader and Jummon Mia, 35. 

Police recovered their bodies from a marsh beside the house of one Sattar member in Ershadnagar on Sunday (May 15) morning. 

Tongi Thana Sub-Inspector (SI) Jahurul Islam confirmed this matter to banglanews.
