CHITTAGONG: Ruling Awami League Presidium Member Engineer Khandaker Mosharraf Hossain on Tuesday suggested Nobel Laureate Muhammad Yunus to join BNP politics.

Indicating Dr Yunus, he said, “You are talking about caretaker government system. It will not be fruitful. At first join BNP then talk about the issue.”

The expatriates welfare and overseas employment minister came up with the suggestion while addressing rally at Chakbazar in the port city.

Chittagong City Awami League organized the programme.

He said, “Once upon a time Khaleda Zia said she does not want caretaker government as none is neutral except mad and kid. Now she wants caretaker government. It is her political character.”
