DHAKA: A city court issued arrest warrant against 16 BNP members including Barkatullah Bulu, Maruf Kamal and Shimul Biswas in a case under Explosion Act.

Metropolitan Magistrate Kamrul Hossain Mollah passed the order taking cognizance the case on Monday (November 21).

Court’s additional public persecutor (PP) Tapash Kumar Paul confirmed the matter to Banglanews.

Some other accused are BNP leader Azizul Bari Helal, Saiful Islam Nirob and Mir Sarafat Ali Safu.

The case was filed with Mirpur Thana on March 19, 2015 for creating sabotage.
