DHAKA: AL general secretary Obaidul Quader said BNP violated the secrecy by revealing their proposal placed before the President on Election Commission (EC) reformation.

Obaidul, also Road Transport and Bridges Minister, came up with this assertion while speaking at a program at city’s Hussaini Dalan road Monday afternoon (January 23).

BNP secretary general Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir earlier brought an allegation against Obaidul Quader saying that he disclosed the names proposed during the meeting with the President on EC reformation.

However, the allegation is self-contradictory because Mirza Fakhrul himself stated that they did not mention the name of any specific person, the minister pointed out.
