DHAKA: Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina asked the activists of Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL), the student wing of ruling Awami League, to serve the nation with sacrifice and patience.

The premier, also ruling Awami League president, came up with the urge while addressing a programme organized by Bangladesh Chhatra League at Dhanmondi in the city on Saturday.

Emphasizing on study, she said, “Do politics to serve the nation but study is the first duty of a student as everyone used to rebuff unsuccessful students and leadership.”

Quoting father of the nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, she advised BCL activists to follow the path of sacrifice shown by Bangabandhu.
