24 Islami Somaj men held in Chittagong

CHITTAGONG: Detective Branch of Chittagong Metropolitan Police (CMP) detained 24 leaders and activists of Islami Somaj from Pahartali area of Chittagong on Friday night (February 03).

Deputy Commissioner of CMP Paritosh Ghosh told Banglanews that acting on a tip-off they detained them from their secret meeting around 10:30pm.

The detainees were interrogated whole night, he added.
