DHAKA: Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) secretary general Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir on Monday (February 13) expressed willingness to hold talks with Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina over the election-time government.
The BNP senior leader expressed the willingness while talking to journalists at party’s Nayapaltan central office.
He further said that the President played his role. “Now, I would like to ask Prime Minister for holding talks about polls-time government. Otherwise, she will have to take all responsibilities.”
Mirza Fakhrul also said that BNP would participate in the general elections under a non-partisan government.
He also urged the journalists not to publish speculative news items.
