JOYPURHAT: Local Awami League (AL) leader Khalilur Rahman died at Labaid hospital in Dhaka on Sunday morning (February 19).

The Khetlal upazila AL president of Joypurhat breathed his last at 6am. 

Earlier Khalilur was admitted to the hospital for treatment as he had been suffering from diabetes and liver problems. 

He was the former chairman of Barail union parishad under Khetlal upazila of the district.
