BNP leader arrested in Dinajpur

DINAJPUR: Police arrested a BNP leader from Dinajpur district town on Saturday (March 18) night.

The arrestee is Bakhtiar Ahmed Kachi, 38, son of Dinajpur district association’s president Advocate Md. Khatib Uddn.   

Bakhtiar Ahmed Kachi is convener of town unit of the Jatiayatabai Sechchhasebol Dal, a front body of the BNP. He was arrested from his residence at Baluadanga area of the district town.

Sub-inspector (SI) of Kotwali police station Mizanur Rahman Mizan said that they arrested the BNP leader, as he is accused in several cases.
