CHITTAGONG: Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) arrested Dhan Bikash Chakma, leader of a faction of Jana Samhati Samiti (JSS) of Chittagong Hill Tracts (CHT), along with his two aides. 

The RAB members arrested the JSS men from Hathazari upazila in Chittagnong early on Sunday (March 19). The RAB also seized Tk. 11 lakh from their procession. 

Besides Dhan Bikash Chakma, 59, the two others detainees are JSS leaders Prem Ranjan Chakma and Rubel Tanchanga.

RAB Chittagong zone captain Lt Col Miftah Uddin Ahmad told Banglanews that the JSS men are involved in various crimes, including extortion. They last kidnapped an Awami League leader. Dhan Bikash Chakma lead crimes in the CHT.
