KUSHTIA: Awami League joint secretary general Mahbub-ul Alam Hanif alleged that BNP’s hostile reaction against government’s anti-militant operations proves that they have connections with all these militant organizations.

He made the allegation to journalists at his home in Kushtia on Friday (March 24).

Hanif said BNP has been speaking in favor of militants from the beginning that raises the question that what do they have against anti-militant drives? 

“BNP’s crocodile tears for their militants firends will not be of any benefit because government is working with zero tolerance policy against militancy and for the sake of public safety.” 

Kushtia Sadar Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) Ibadat Hossain, District Awami League President and Vice Chairman of the District Council Rabiul Islam, Organizing Secretary Ruhul Azam among others were present at that time.
