SIRAJGANJ: The law enforcement agency filed a case against 1244 leaders and activists of opposition BNP mentioning 44 names on charge of attacking police and obstructing to discharge their duties at Ullapara clash incident.

Ullapara Thana Sub-Inspector Jahid Hasan filed the case on Sunday night.

Confirming the matter, Ullapara Thana Officer-in-Charge Habibul Islam said police is trying to arrest the accused.

On Sunday, a clash took place between two groups of BNP in a programme of marking founding anniversary of BNP, leaving at least 15 people injured.
