RAJSHAHI, SYLHET: Rajshahi City Corporation (RCC) Mayor Mosaddek Hossain Bulbul and Sylhet City Corporation (SCC) Mayor Ariful Haque Chowdhury were removed again on Sunday (April 2).

RCC Mayor Bulbul was suspended within 10 minutes after he had taken charges while SCC Mayor Ariful suspended within three hours after he had resumed office in the noon.

Sources from RCC and SCC CEO (Chief Executive Officer) Enamul Habib confirmed the matter to Banglanews.

Enamul said that SCC received a fax message sent from the local government department of Ministry of Local Government, Rural Development and Cooperation asking removal of Ariful.

However, SCC Mayor Ariful was removed again as he was a accused in a case filed for attempting to kill late Awami League Lawmaker Suranjit Sengupta
